Malton Heat Network
We are working with Environmental Smart CIC on ground-source heat network options for Malton School and Malton, Norton & District Hospital in Malton, a market town in North Yorkshire. The work is being funded through a £38,200 Community Fund grant from GB Energy which is administered by the North East & Yorkshire Net Zero Hub and we have raised £11,000 in private match funding to further support the project.
We will deliver high-level assessments of both shallow and deep geothermal heat network solutions for both locations and for the residential properties that lie between the hospital and the school, plus an energy system optimisation report for the school. There will also be a community engagement workstream that will include input from Malton Town Council and Circular Malton & Norton.
